Warren Kimble - contemporary folk artist

(Belleville's answer to Nutley's Martha Stewart)

Warren Kimble grew up in Belleville, New Jersey, often spending time on his grandparents' farm in the rural countryside. He received his degree in fine arts from Syracuse University in 1957. After pursuing a career in advertising, he moved to Vermont and taught art at Castleton State College. Kimble began painting full time in 1983. His work found its way into art galleries in Woodstock, Vermont and, within a relatively short time, he has become the country's most successful folk artist.
