Joe Pesci Comedy Actor, composer from Belleville (Joseph Pesci) 5'5" Born in Newark, N.J., on Feb. 9, 1943 Grew up in Soho and Silver Lake sections of Belleville from age 10 through 28. He attended School 4 and Belleville High School up to his junior year. He cut hair at Michael Mauriello's shop on Franklin Street, according to Anna Spiewak writing in the Belleville Times on Sept. 23, 2004. Pesci and actor/singer Tom DeVito were in town for the Michael P. Calabro Memorial Golf Outing. The golf was played at Hendricks Field and the dinner later at Nanina's in the Park. Pesci won the Oscar for his role as Tom DeVito in the movie GOODFELLAS.
